Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data PDFint8 processes and why. Highlighted placeholders must be completed by the operator before launch.

1. Controller

2. Data we process

  • Document content. Text extracted from the file you upload or the text you paste, together with technical details such as file name, size, page count, detected language and detected document type.
  • Analysis results. The summaries, findings and question answers generated for your document.
  • Payment data. Transaction references and status from our payment provider. Card details are handled by the provider, not by us.
  • Account data, where you create an account: email address and authentication identifiers.
  • Technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as request logs and error reports.

3. What we do with uploaded files

The uploaded file itself is not retained after processing: text is extracted in memory and the original file is discarded. The extracted text and the analysis results are stored so you can return to your result page and ask questions about the document. Your result is reachable only through the unique private link generated for it, and result pages are excluded from search engine indexing.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing the analysis you requested — performance of a contract with you.
  • Processing payments and preventing abuse — contract and legitimate interests.
  • Keeping the service secure and diagnosing faults — legitimate interests.
  • Meeting accounting and legal obligations — legal obligation.

5. Processors and recipients

  • Hosting and database: [hosting provider], processing region [region].
  • AI processing: document text is sent to our AI provider to generate the analysis. The provider's own data handling and retention behaviour applies: [AI provider name, its documented retention period and whether inputs are used for training]. We state this only once it has been confirmed against the provider's current terms.

We do not sell your data and do not publish uploaded documents. Access on our side is limited to what is necessary to operate the service.

6. International transfers

Where a processor operates outside your region, transfers rely on the safeguards named in that processor's agreement: [transfer mechanism per processor].

7. Retention

Extracted text and results are kept for [retention period], after which they are deleted. Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires. You can request deletion of a specific analysis at any time by contacting us with its link.
